The Akron Zips Gold team won 51-21 in the Zips' annual spring football game.
University of Akron ranked 94th in overall defense and 116th out of 120 teams nationally in scoring defense in the FBS, according to the NCAA. As a team, the Zips also came up with four sacks, including one from Albert Presley, who stood out tremendously throughout the game.
A key element for the Zips was the leadership. Both offensive and defensive units boasted strong leaders.
